Each team MUST consist of two people.

Entry Fee $130 per team.

Profits to be used to defray costs associated with this event.​

Date / Time is subject to change if CLN deems the weather conditions to be unsafe.

Teams must be in no later than the end time, otherwise you will be disqualified.
LAUNCH SITE
Boat Basin - Hagåtña, Guam

This competition is a boat meet.
-
Each team will have to dive by boat and launch from the Hagåtña Boat Basin only.
-
Boats will be monitored via VHF Radio (Channel 68) & cell phone.

Must NOT pass inside of the green buoy (Orote side).

The inner edge of the breakwater at the mouth of the harbor / other restricted areas.

SAFETY REGULATIONS
-
This is a free drive ONLY using the Buddy System (1 Diver Up / 1 Diver Down).
-
ALL divers MUST be able to visually see their partner while in the water.
-
Watch your partner from the surface while on a dive. YOU are the safety diver for your partner.
-
The diver on the surface MUST remain within 20 feet of their dive float, holding the line and MUST NOT dive.
-
Divers must check in and out with their dive partner.
-
Team check-in after dive is a MUST, regardless if you think your catch will not qualify.

Please DO NOT leave without checking in or future participation in tournaments will be suspended. This is for everyone's safety.

If you determine ocean and / or weather conditions to be unsafe to your ability, your entry fee will be refunded and you will no longer be eligible for giveaways.

To receive a refund, entrants must be present and personally obtain approval from a tournament official prior to the start of the tournament. NO refunds will be processed once the competition has begun.

Abuse of this policy will result in banishment from any future CLN events.

Each diver is responsible for his / her own safety.


GEAR
-
No scuba gear.
-
Divers may use pole spears and spear guns.
-
No power-heading fish.
-
Every team must use a safety buoy / floater and display a Diver Down while diving.
-
Each diver MUST carry a dive knife.

CATCH SUBMISSIONS

This is a LARGEST fish competition. Each team may submit:
-
1 Fish for Pelagic
-
1 or 2 Fish for the Open category
-
1 Fish for EACH of the Species category.
-
1 Largest Fish for all eligible species in the Sea Slayer category.
-

All fish submitted will be measured and weighed for data collection.
-
Fish can be donated to the event organization.
-
A Special category will be announced on the morning of the event upon checking in.
-
Teams must decide which fish to weigh in.
-
Submissions are final once the officials receive the fish.
-
No mutilated fish will be scored.
-
Judges decision is final.

Jelly Fish, Turtles, Sharks, Rays, Eels, Balloon Fish, Triggerfish, Batfish, Angelfish, Filefish, Needlefish, Barracuda, Twin-Spot Snapper (aka Tagafi), One-Spot Snapper (aka Buha), Unicorn Fish (aka Tataga Halu'u).
